As specialists in sustainable architecture, we are excited to work with clients to create sustainable buildings that meet the NSW government's new sustainability standards for non-residential developments.
As of 1 October 2023, new non-residential developments exceeding $5 million in developmental cost ($10 million for changes to existing developments) must meet sustainability requirements covering water and energy efficiency, waste reduction, and net zero emissions. Our focus on sustainable design gives us an edge in commercial architecture in Sydney that meets all of these requirements while achieving each client’s goals.
Smaller commercial spaces that are not required to meet sustainability requirements can still benefit from sustainable design. We create spaces that feel more comfortable and conducive to both staff and customers while keeping energy costs to a minimum.

Yes, we offer interior design services in addition to our commercial architecture services in Sydney.
Our interior design process involves a discussion about your brand’s vision, ideas, preferences, timeline, and budget. We will assess your commercial property, gathering any relevant documentation, property history, and local area insights. Our design team will also evaluate any heritage listing, zoning, or building code considerations.
With the nitty-gritty out of the way, now’s the time for the designing stage. Our interior designers will create the floor plan layout, sections, colour schemes, textures, style elements, materials, and finishes in line with the initial discussion. Using BIM technology, our designs will then be transferred to a 3D model, so your team will have a clear visual of our proposed interior designs. Discuss the design and make any changes your business sees fit with our interior team. Once we obtain your company’s approval, we will move on to the council approval and construction stages.

Yes, our commercial architects have worked across many heritage-listed buildings and properties. At Crush, we understand Sydney’s rich history and aim to encapsulate its unique charm and character in all our heritage-listed projects. Using subtle modern amenities and technologies for comfort and functional business operations, we create cohesion between the old and new.
Do you work on heritage-listed buildings?
Our commercial architects Sydney services typically range between 10 to 15% of the construction costs. This is the industry average; however, it is also dependent on each project.
Our pricing is split into two phases: 5% for the concept design and Development Application (DA), and another 5% for the construction phase. Additional services, such as interior design, will increase the price of our services.
